Who We Are
Hello! We are Robyn and Monika, founders of Mint Cleaning located in Ucluelet, BC. We met at a Mom group in 2016—it was friendship at first sight and business partners the following day. We started a cleaning company that became an overnight success, with a full team servicing vacation rentals, residential, and commercial cleans.
After suffering from the harmful effects of harsh cleaning chemicals, we knew it was time to switch to safer, eco-friendly products. As professional cleaners, we understand what it takes to get the job done right, and we weren't willing to compromise on effectiveness. So, we began experimenting with our own recipes and formulated a line of cleaning products that are both effective and safe to use in your home.
Over the past few years, we’ve significantly expanded our product line. What started as a few eco-friendly cleaning products has now grown into an extended cleaning product line, as well as a self-care product line that is continually growing.
Milestones & Recognition
We’re beyond grateful for the recognition we’ve received. From being featured in the Spring 2022 Jilly Box to winning Best E-Commerce Experience at the 2023 Small Business BC Awards, being nominated for the RBC Women of Influence Awards, and receiving various regional nominations. Plus, landing a spot on Dragons’ Den in November 2024!
In 2023, we also achieved another milestone; opening our very own retail store, bringing Mint Cleaning directly to our customers in Ucluelet, a space that reflects our values of sustainability and clean living locally.
From our humble beginnings as a small cleaning company to becoming a recognized brand in homes across Canada, we are proud of how far we’ve come, and we're excited to keep growing, one clean and caring product at a time!
